Our house is located in the village of Pleasant Valley on Main street, NY Route 44. Convienent walking to the post office, grocery stores and shops. The road is also great for cycling and is a bike route. |

The house is 4 miles from the Taconic parkway and 8 miles from Rt 9 in Poughkeepsie.

The backyard is great ! There is a large patio area and horseshoe pits. There is 110 feet frontage on the Wappingers Creek. You can fish, swim, ice skate or just watch the wildlife. |

Canadian geese, mallards, kingfishers and blue herons share the 50 foot wide creek.
There is a spring in the creek so the water is always cold and running. Great for trout
and swimming on those hot August days.
